One Direction Make History With #1 Billboard Debut

One Direction will set a record next week when their first album, Up All Night, debuts at the top of the Billboard 200 albums chart. Yes, believe it or not, Niall, Zayn, Liam, Harry and Louis will be the first British group to have their debut album enter the chart at #1 with their first effort thanks to sales of 176,000, according to figures provided by Nielsen SoundScan.

Happy 18th Birthday Harry!

We’re sure that the boys will have a big celebration lined up for Harry, as he officially enters adulthood.
But poor Harry won’t officially be able to toast his 18th until he leaves the States, as the legal drinking age there is 21 – bad luck Harry!

One Direction's 'One Thing' Spurs Big Billboard Chart Jump.

One Direction makes a striking jump straight into the top 10 on Billboard's Social 50 chart, rising 35-10 thanks to the Jan. 13 debut of its music video for "One Thing." The clip racked up more than 5 million views in its first five days of release.

One Direction Nominated For A Brit Award -- Full Nominees List.

One Direction scored their first Brit Award nomination in the British Single category, but they face tough competition from fellow boybands JLS and The Wanted as well as their friend Olly Murs -- plus they're up against chart toppers like Ed Sheeran, Adele, and the Military Wives.
The Brit Awards will take place at the O2 Arena in London on 21 February.

Lady Gaga, One Direction Fans Clash Online.

Lady Gaga fans have labelled One Direction's supporters as 'disrespectful' in an online war started on Twitter.

The disagreement was sparked by Gaga's Little Monsters paying their respects to a young fan of the 'Born This Way' star called Niall who sadly passed away after a battle with cancer. The fans soon got the hashtag #RIPNiall trending worldwide as a tribute.

However, One Direction fans logging on to the social networking site were given a shock when they saw the hashtag as they, incorrectly, assumed it was about Niall Horan of the 'Gotta Be You' band.

A number of Gaga fans have described the fans reaction to discovering the real story and their relief that it was 'only' a Gaga fan as 'self centred' and 'disgusting'.

One user Tweeted to say: "you fans of one direction need to sort it out, someone has just died!"

Whilst another added: 'Some reactions to #RIPNiall again shows how self centered and disgusting 'directioners' can be.

I don't think we Directioners are disgusting and I have nothing against "Little Monsters" Either, I Personally Think this "Fight" is not needed.

Zayn and Perrie.

One Direction are riddled at the moment aren't they? Rumours about Harry and Caroline, Niall and Amelia, and Zayn and Perrie flying about with some kind of frantic fury at the moment, and we're getting a bit dizzy getting to the bottom of them all.

One thing we can say though, is that it seems like Zayn and Perrie never happened. She's said she didn't kiss him, she said they never went out, and know she's said she hardly knows him.

It’s ridiculous,” she told The Mirror or the rumours she had 'dumped Zayn'.
“How can I possibly have dumped someone that I barely even know?
“It’s actually massively embarrassing."
"He must be like ‘What the hell?’ In terms of guys, I have a real thing for Johnny Depp – he’s my proper celebrity crush. He’s so hot.”

So that pretty much clears it up if you weren't convinved already...

One Direction And JLS Perform Together On The X Factor

One Direction and JLS performed together for the first time on The X Factor yesterday night

The two former reality stars collaborate on stage at London's Wembley Arena.

The two bands, who both previously appeared on the series as contestants, sang a mash-up of their own hits at London's Wembley Arena.

JLS's Aston Merrygold, Marvin, Humes Oritse Williams and JB took to the stage first and launched into a rendition of their song, 'She Makes Me Wanna'.

Harry Styles, Liam Payne, Louis Tomlinson, Zayn Malik and Niall Horan then descended from roof of the venue to perform 'What Makes You Beautiful'.

The two groups then came together and ran into the middle of 10,000-strong crowd to sing the two tracks as one.

One Direction and JLS' collaboration came after the opening performances from this year's The X Factor finalists, Amelia Lily, Little Mix and Marcus Collins.

The X Factor final continues on ITV 1 tonight, with two acts going through to the second part of The X Factor final on Sunday (11^th December).

JLS And One Direction's The X Factor Charity Music Video Unveiled

JLS and One Direction both feature in the new music video for this year's The X Factor Charity single, which was released in the evening of 25th November.

Both the 'Gotta Be You' singers and four-piece JLS were asked to contribute vocals to the show's charity cover of Rose Royce's 'Wishing On A Star' by The X Factor boss Simon Cowell.

The bands filmed the music video for 'Wishing On A Star' earlier this week alongside the show's 15 finalists including Little Mix, Amelia Lily and Misha B.

Simon Cowell previously confirmed that all profits made from sales of the single will be donated to children's charity Together For Short Lives

'Wishing On A Star' will be officially released for download on 27th November.

Caroline Flack and Harry Styles enjoy awkward reunion.

Last night Caroline's torment reached its peak, with One Direction appearing on Xtra Factor following their earlier performance on the live results show. 

Louis Walsh started proceedings during an exchange with Gary Barlow, saying: 'By the way Gary – somebody's made a big effort today for some reason. 

'Caroline is looking really well, she's trying to impress somebody tonight. I don't know who it is.'

While an embarrassed Caroline told Louis to stop it, another Louis was ready and waiting to reignite the mockery later in the show. 

Earlier in the evening One Direction Louis Tomlinson had re-tweeted a message from a fan which read: 'Go on, make it awkward between Harry and Caroline tonight :)' 

When Harry was asked by Olly Murs which X Factor girl he fancied the most, Louis duly piped up: 'Caroline!'

Yesterday, One Direction performed "Gotta be you" on the x factor.
We all know that one year ago they were standing on that stage as finalists and it was great seeing them back on that stage!
